Graduating high school meant leaving behind a lot of people and activities that meant a lot to me. One of the things I knew I would miss the most was my church. I had been a leader in the youth group and a representative on church council; I even worked there part-time after school!

I decided that I wanted to connect to a campus ministry when I arrived at MTSU three years ago, and after visiting several I ended up at Presbyterian Student
Fellowship, or PSF.

With close to a hundred different religious organizations at MTSU, anyone interested in such a group is sure to find a place where they will feel at home. For me, PSF is just right. When I started attending there two years
ago, there were only seven or eight students who were regularly involved. Now that number is much higher; the word has spread and anywhere from 25 to
50 people are plugged in to the ministry. Each week it seems I see a few new faces and make a few new friends!

Typically we meet every Thursday for food and worship, but last week was different, as we embarked on the annual World's Fastest Hayride. After we
arrived at the site, we roasted hot dogs and shared laughs. And what campfire is complete without marshmallows? Inevitably, we had a competition
to see who could fit the most in his or her mouth at one time. Unfortunately, my mouth isn't as big as I thought.

Either way, I'm glad I found another place to connect with other students. Despite my busy schedule, I always try to make time for my PSF friends.
