That's a question that rings in the ears of all college students regardless of age, status, or rank.
MTSU does a fantastic job encouraging ideas and bringing up opportunities for all students when they hold career fairs.
Recently, Mass Comm held a career day
for its students, offering representatives from the recording industry, the
radio industry, film, and television. I had the
great fortune of helping out with parking and one of the tables a portion
of the day.
Students and faculty were invited to
sit in on panels discussing several relevant topics, including women in the
recording industry. As a recording industry student,
I was absolutely inspired by these recent MTSU graduates who already work
in the field. One woman even expressed that she still bleeds blue with Blue
Raider pride.
I feel honored to attend a university
that cares so much about taking a student's education and making something
out of it after graduation. Career fairs are MTSU's
way of getting its students' feet in the
doors of their futures.
