It's hard to believe the school bell is
ringing in Murfreesboro again. The spring
semester has begun, although judging by
the temperature it is hardly springtime.
It feels very good to be back in town,
though. I've come to recognize MTSU as home.

There is nothing quite like the first day
of classes. It's so good to watch my fellow
students flooding back onto campus ready to take
on another riveting semester of work and play.
New and old faces pop up in classes, and everyone
nervously wonders if the professor they took
really is as difficult as they've been told.
In a weird way, it's like Christmas; new things
are in store for every student. We just have to
unwrap them!

I've only been a student for a mere
year and a half, but the experiences and
opportunities Murfreesboro and the University
have given me so far are going to stay with me
for life. As hectic as life on campus can be,
it's something I truly embrace when all is said
and done.
