There are places on campus one would never know
was there unless they were told about it.

These aren't mythological places like the third
floor pool at you high school, these are genuine
locations that provide tools for the advancement
of students.

One hidden location I've had the privilege of
frequenting this semester is the Digital Lab
in the basement of the Alumni Memorial Gym. In
this lab I've gotten to work on digital audio
on Mac computers toward one of my classes in
my Recording Industry production and technology
major, Applied Digital Audio.

Recording Industry production and technology
students are allowed to book time on the computers
to work on projects they were assigned in class.
The quiet and friendly atmosphere help students
focus on even the most intense sessions.

Any student can attest to the cost of college
and all of the supplies necessary. At this point in
my life, I cannot obtain all of the equipment I
need for audio engineering. I don't have to worry,
though, because MTSU provides for students in my
situation.

You never know what you can find when you look
a little closer at MTSU.
