1.  How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?

A detailed description on how to obtain a transcript is located on the MTSU Records website.   Information about commencement photos are also included on the Records Department website.

Unofficial transcripts can be accessed on-line using PipelineMT. Once you log into PipelineMT, select the RaiderNet tab, followed by the Student tab, then the Student Records link, and then select Transcript from the menu to view your unofficial transcript. If you have not attended MTSU since Fall 2001, your transcript will not be accessible on the web via PipelineMT.

2.  How do I get another copy of my diploma or photos from commencement?

To receive a copy of your diploma, contact the MTSU Records office at (615) 898-2163.

3.  How do I submit updated information about myself (i.e. a new address, email, promotion, marriage, child, death, etc.)

Updates are encouraged!  Updates are not only how we keep in touch with you, but also how we find out about the fabulous achievements you're making after leaving MTSU. 

To update us on your life, visit the Class Notes page.  Class Notes are submitted through our online community so you'll need to log in.  Why log in?  It safeguards your identity and ensures that only YOU are submitting updates on your life.

4.  Can alumni park on campus?

Yes!
All visitors are requested to use parking meters or to report to the Parking and Transportation Services Office to secure a visitor's parking permit. This permit will be made available free of charge. Everyone must pay at the meters. The Parking and Transportation Services Office is located at 1403 East Main Street (just behind what used to be St. Marks Church.) Please call our office at 898-2850 if you need further directions for our office location. Parking and Transportation Services' office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, Monday through Friday. 

5.  Can MTSU alumni use the Recreation Center?

Yes!
Alumni do have eligibility to purchase membership to the Rec Center – paid memberships gets full access to the facility. For Rec Center purposes, alumni are defined as anyone who has attended (and paid) for tuitioned classes, not only graduates of MTSU.

The membership fees for the Alumnus would be: 4 months - $100.00, 8 months - $190.00, 12 months - $275.00

An Alumnus could purchase a membership for his/her family, as well. A family is defined as the Alumnus, his/her spouse, and dependent children up to age 21 (there is no membership charge for children 4 years old and younger). The membership fees for the Alumni Family would be: 4 months - $230.00, 8 months - $410.00, 12 months - $605.00

6.  Can MTSU alumni use the library?

Yes!
The library is open to the general public. Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to midnight; Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m. to midnight. Below are the alumni privileges:

Borrowing Privileges:

Alumni may have 4 books checked out at one time.
Bring a picture ID and proof of graduation
(such as a photocopy of diploma) to the
Circulation Desk to obtain a borrower's card.

Electronic Resources:

Alumni have off-campus access to many research databases through the Tennessee Electronic Library at:

http://tntel.info

No password is required for access.

7.  Where can I find historical information about MTSU?

The Albert Gore Research Center was named after former U.S. Sen. Albert Gore Sr., an alumnus, after he donated his papers to MTSU. The center serves as a repository of manuscripts and other materials value to the history of Middle Tennessee. It is located on the ground floor of Todd Hall. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

8.  Do you have permanent email for alumni?
Currently, we do not offer permanent email for alumni.  We do, however, offer email forwarding from your mtsu.edu student account.  To learn more, visit this page.

9.  What other discounts do alumni receive?

MTSU Alumni receive discounts on Dell computers. This link will take you to the Dell portal which provides the discount.
