"The official hosts of MTSU."

MTSU Student Ambassadors are university leaders who welcome guests, provide tours, and support presidential, alumni, donor, academic and athletic events across campus. Serving as a Student Ambassador is a great honor, and offers students excellent opportunities to make connections within their field of study and with alumni from across the country. To be chosen as a Student Ambassador, students must participate in a detailed selection process that includes applications and interviews. Student Ambassador recruitment is held each spring.

	Chad Hardy, President Hometown: Halls, Tenn. Major: Agribusiness MTSU has made an impact on me …. “By bettering my personal and leadership qualities. MTSU has given me the urge to always want to go farther and try harder. With the family atmosphere at MTSU, it seems as if someone is always there for you and pushing you farther and harder which makes me appreciate the accomplishments I fulfill that much more.”
	Brandon T. Batts, Vice President Hometown: Chattanooga, Tenn. Major: Business Management MTSU has made an impact on me… “Because I believe by being here it has made me grow more as a person, brother and friend.”
	Emily Lester, Secretary/Treasurer Hometown: Columbia, Tenn. Major: Psychology What is your favorite MTSU memory? ”My favorite MTSU memory would be joining the Student Ambassadors. Being a part of this organization has opened up a world of opportunities, from meeting alums, networking and gaining a sense of pride for MTSU, I’ve never felt before.”
	Troy Berry Hometown: Murfreesboro, Tenn. Major: Electronic Media Communications What is your favorite MTSU memory? “My favorite MTSU memory is the Honors College ice cream social during my freshman year. There were so many amazing toppings. It was great.”
	Brittany Cary Hometown: Nashville, Tenn. Major: Nutrition and Food Science with a concentration in Dietetics When I graduate from MTSU, I plan to…. “Enroll in a dual graduate/internship program to gain my registered dietician status and a masters degree in food science.”
	Carla Fields Hometown: Memphis, Tenn. Major: Mass Communications MTSU has made an impact on me….. “I have met numerous people who have taught me life long values. I have never met a stranger on campus. I always loved MTSU because no matter what I need, there is always someone willing to assist me.”

	Jessica Fine Hometown: Lenoir City, Tenn. Major: Instrumental Music Education When I graduate from MTSU, I plan to ….. “Move on to graduate school for a masters degree in music education. Afterward, I’ll progress toward working toward a Ph.D. in a music field or another educational section.”
	Cory Gibson Hometown: Obion, Tenn. Major: Advertising and Public Relations What is your favorite MTSU memory? “My favorite MTSU memory would definitely be Greek life’s bid day my freshman year when I accepted an offer to join my fraternity. To be under your colors with all your brothers for the first time is an amazing feeling.”
	Austin Graeter Hometown: Memphis, Tenn. Major: Aerospace MTSU is special to me because….. “I am the first person in my family to attend MTSU, my whole family has attended the University of Memphis. This has given me a great respect for the campus and a love for the school because I am the first in my family to be a Blue Raider.”
	Merranda Holmes Hometown: McMinnville, Tenn. Major: Biology , Pre-Med When I graduate from MTSU, I plan to…. “Attend medical school and become a physician in order to bring hope and healing into the lives of others for the remainder of my life.”
	Darrin Johnson Hometown: Memphis, Tenn. Major: Aerospace What is your favorite MTSU memory? “My favorite MTSU memory was freshman year when I went on the New Orleans road rally. I had so much fun hanging out with my friends and other students. The highlight of the trip was when MT went into overtime and won!!”
	Brittany Martin Hometown: McMinnville, Tenn. Major: Psychology What is your favorite MTSU memory? “Homecoming, in general, is my absolute favorite MTSU memory. I met my best friend at a homecoming event. I also have shared MTSU Homecoming with my family for the past three years. Fight Song, the parade, chili cook-off, Step Show, tailgating… I love it all!! It’s my favorite time of year!”
	Lorelco Mulzac Hometown: Springfield, Tenn. Major: Industrial and organizational psychology MTSU is special to me because…. “The environment is so warm. The people here at MTSU are nice and friendly. This is a very prestigious college and people from all over the country come here to get there education. MTSU is very diverse and that is one thing I value.”
	Katie Phillips Hometown: Murfreesboro, Tenn. Major: Political Science, Pre-Law MTSU is special to me because …. “MTSU is so special to me because it is everything I thought it would be, and more. I have not had one negative experience while here. My professors and advisors have all been amazing and showed they genuinely care about my future. Every organization I have joined has been fulfilling and worthwhile. I do not feel I could have gotten this level of education as well as such great experiences anywhere else.”
	Michele Royer Hometown: Murfreesboro, Tenn. Major: Psychology What is your favorite MTSU memory? “My first day of classes, I arrived on campus an hour early to ensure I would not be late. I then realized I forgot my backpack and had to go all the way back home and ended up 20 minutes late to my first class. My professor laughed at me and it became my favorite class that semester.”
	Cody Smith Hometown: Cookeville, Tenn. Major: Undeclared When I graduate from MTSU, I plan to …. “Continue on to something new, maybe more school or join the military. I want to push the limit to see how far I can go!”
