Meet at the Alumni House for a light breakfast.

MTSU History
A Century of Service: The History of MTSU
Dr. Lisa Pruitt, Director of the Albert Gore Research Center
In this session, we will explore the history of MTSU as it relates to the history of the region and the nation. How did events on the national scene-World Wars, the Great Depression, the boom years of the 50s, and Civil Rights-play out on this campus? We will also highlight ongoing efforts to
preserve and digitize aspects of the history in anticipation of the upcoming Centennial Celebration in 2011.

Archiving your story
John Lodl ('98, '04), Director of Rutherford County Archives
Need some help getting started with your family's history or genealogy? You'll receive helpful hints to organizing all the pieces, allowing future generations to know and appreciate their heritage.

MTSU Memory Project
Walker Library is collecting and preserving photographs, correspondence, memorabilia, and other materials that document the critical role played by MTSU within the community during its first century. The project will produce an informative website and a searchable database that will be mounted in conjunction with the University's centennial celebration in 2011.

First Down
Be recruited to play for the Blue Raiders, or at least cheer them on, while touring the Kennon Sports Hall of Fame, locker room, and workout facilities of our Blue Raiders. Experience the unique turf that covers the field.

Lunch in the Press Box
Go where few are granted game day access. Dine in the press box, overlooking Floyd Stadium and the skyline of Rutherford County. Get pumped for football season while filling up on a tailgate spread of hamburgers and hotdogs.

Promenade On
Tour one of the country's premier horse arenas. The Tennessee Miller Coliseum is a 222,000 square foot facility situated on 154 acres that is part of MTSU's campus. With stadium-style seating for 4,600 and stall space to accommodate 492 horses, this deluxe arena is used for local, state, regional, national and international horse show events, rodeos, and even tractor pulls.

Saddle Up Your Horses
Dr. Rhonda Hoffman, Associate Professor, Equine Science
Explore the leading equine program in the east. We will be introduced to the latest research and technology in the horse world. You won't believe what's happening in the MTSU barns

Where am I?
With all the new buildings and projects, our campus landscape may be a bit daunting. Take the campus tour and make sure you can find your way around campus these days. You'll see where things use to be, where things are, and where things will be.

Dinner at Front Porch Café
We'll dine in a historical building just off the square that was originally used as Woodfin and Moore Funeral Home.
